The project consists of the construction of improvements to a wastewater treatment facility. The work includes modifications to the existing aeration system, such as removing the floating aerator in the aeration pond and installing a diffused aeration system in both the aeration pond and aerated lagoon, as well as modifications to the existing 8-inch transfer pipe, piers, and splash pad in the aerated lagoon. The project also encompasses demolition, earthwork, site work, yard piping, erosion and sediment control measures, grassing, construction staking, mobilization and demobilization, bonds, insurance, delivery of materials, take offs, and all other appurtenances required for completion as shown and specified. All work must be completed within 300 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Each performance and payment bond for the successful bidder must be in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
