Sealed bids are requested for the Village of Bainbridge Water Line Replacement. The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment as specified in the contract documents. Bidders must register and obtain bid documents for a non-refundable fee. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond, or alternatively a Cashiers Check, Certified Check, or Letter of Credit for ten percent of the bid amount as bid security. Upon contract signing, a 100 percent Performance Bond and a 100 percent Labor and Material Payment Bond are required if not using a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond. Federal Prevailing Wage Rates, Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, and Section 3 requirements under the Housing and Urban Development Act apply. The use of Ohio products, materials, services, and labor is required as much as practicable, and domestic steel requirements apply as specified in Ohio Revised Code Section 153.011. All sections, forms, and affidavits in the bid packet must be completed and submitted. Each bidder must submit evidence of experience with similar sized and complex projects.
