Sealed bids for Skiway Avenue Bridge Superstructure Replacement will be received online via the PennBid Program by Washington Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Bids will be opened and read electronically via the PennBid website. Contracts will be awarded at a regularly scheduled meeting of Washington Township. A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Washington Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. Each bidder must be prepared to submit evidence of qualifications to perform the work. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. The contract time for this project is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days. Washington Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. Bidders requesting an explanation or interpretation of the Contract Drawings, specifications, or bidding documents for this project should submit questions online via the 'Messages/Public Q&A feature in PennBid.
