Description

Site work and new construction of a medical facility in Abbotsford, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 150,696-square-foot medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

Construction of a full-service diagnostic laboratory consisting of an Animal Health Centre (AHC), Plant Health Unit (PHU), and other Plant and Animal Health Branch (PAHB) and non-laboratory departments within the AF. TIMELINE: Preliminary planning is underway. The project is anticipated to be undertaken using a design-build target price approach. Further update in summer 2026. *The Province has approved up to $496 million to buy the land, build the new facility and buy equipment.
