Reference Number 0000401506 Question Deadline 10/24/2025 at 2:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online Yes Bid Intent Deadline 10/31/2025 02:00 PM EDT The City of Georgetown is seeking bids from licensed sewer utility contractors to perform cure in place pipe (CIPP) and sanitary sewer manhole rehabilitation work on S. Fraser Street between Bourne Street and Front Street in the City of Georgetown. The scope of the work is identified in the construction plans and specifications prepared by Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc., and in general it includes the following: 1. Set up and maintain traffic control. 2. Install bypass pumping and piping. 3. Rehabilitate 19 sanitary manholes along S. Fraser from Bourne St to Front St. 4. CIPP of approximately: 813 LF of 15 in VCP, 1,277 LF of 12in VCP -Base Bid. 5. CIPP of approximately 40 LF of 12in CAS, and 480 LF of 8in in VCP -Alternate. 6. Reinstate laterals after main line CIPP is complete. 7. Submit a detailed traffic control plan for SCDOT approval 4 weeks prior to sewer rehabilitation work. Due to the SCDOT lane closure restriction requirements on S. Fraser Street (Highway 17), all work must be performed at nighttime from 7 PM to 6 AM. A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to construct and install the replacement and rehabilitation of sewer manholes, mainlines, and service lines in its entirety as shown on the Drawings and as specified herein. B. The Work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Maintenance of Traffic 2. CIPP Lining of Sewer Mainlines (8, 12 & 15-inch) 3. Point repairs via open cut 4. Service lateral lining and/or replacement 5. Sewer cleanout repair 6. Raising manholes 7. Installing new manholes 8. Manhole repairs (Chimney, Cone, Wall, Bench, Channel & Inverts) 9. Manhole lining and chimney seals
