Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hughson, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and playground / park / athletic field.
The Hughson Unified School District ("District") is seeking proposals, from qualified and experienced general (B licensed) contractors, for construction of the planned modernization of Hughson High School ("Project"). The District intends to complete the Project using the lease-leaseback construction delivery method authorized by Education Code Section 17406. The RFP sets forth the criteria that the District will use to determine which contractor will constitute the best value to the District. Interested contractors must register with the District, as described in the RFP, in order to attend the mandatory conference and site visit, obtain the required forms of agreements, ask questions regarding the RFP or the Project, receive any subsequently issued addenda to the RFP, and to submit a proposal. The deadline for submitting questions is 12:00 p.m. (noon) on November 6, 2025. The District reserves the rights to (i) waive minor irregularities in the procurement process or any proposal and/or (ii) reject any or all proposals. If the initially selected contractor does not timely execute and deliver the required agreement forms, the District, in its sole discretion, may negotiate with contractors having the next highest best value rankings, in the order determined by the District in accordance with the RFP.
