Question Deadline 10/24/2025 at 3:00 PM CT Questions are submitted online Yes Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % Each bid must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check, or an approved Bidders bond in an amount not less than 5% of the maximum total bid, payable to the City of Seguin, Texas without recourse, as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds on the forms provided, within ten (10) days after the award of contract. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price from an approved Surety Company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as Surety and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary of Treasury of the United States, or other Surety or Sureties acceptable to the Owner. Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids and to waive informalities. Schertz-Seguin Local Government Corporation Council's decision will be final.
