Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Omaha, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Paving Maintenance 2025 project, which consists of removing and replacing 300 SY of 8-inch concrete pavement and other miscellaneous appurtenances. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis. Work under the contract must commence within ten calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed, be substantially completed on or before May 15, 2026, and fully completed by June 1, 2026, subject to extensions granted by the Owner. Bids must include a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in an amount of 5% of the engineer's estimate, made payable to the Treasurer of Sanitary and Improvement District No. 96 of Sarpy County, Nebraska. The successful bidder must enter into a contract and provide an acceptable bond assuring faithful fulfillment of the contract and maintenance of improvements within ten days after acceptance. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the date of the opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and award the contract in the Owner's best interest. Bidding documents are available for examination and purchase as specified. No pre-bid conference will be held. Question Deadline 10/31/2025: All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered
