Renovation of a library in Bloomington, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade library.
General, HVAC, Piping and Plumbing, and Electrical work for the replacement of the existing roof mounted air-cooled chiller. Sealed bids will be received for the Bloomington Public Library Chiller Replacement. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check made payable to the Bloomington Public Library, equal to 10% of the base bid amount, shall be submitted with the bid. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. All bidders must comply with the applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages, and must comply with the Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor and bidding, including Equal Opportunity Laws. The Board of Library Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all documents submitted or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in the prequalification procedures, and to approve trade contractors and vendors to bid in a manner serving the interest of the Bloomington Public Library. Bidding documents are to be obtained from the Library's website. Municipal Meeting 11/18/2025.
