Site work and paving for a road / highway in Amite, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade road / highway.
Construction of a two-lane curb and gutter roadway, approximately 2,135 linear feet from the vicinity of Wildoak Lane to the vicinity of Thorn Lane, including subsurface drainage with 4,050 linear feet of 15-inch to 42-inch diameter pipes and 66 catch basins. The project includes cold-planing the existing asphaltic concrete roadway (19.5 feet average width) followed by 22-foot wide hot mix asphaltic concrete (603 tons wearing, 603 tons base course, 247 tons subbase course, and 438 tons curb base); P.C. concrete pavements (453 square yards driveway pavement and 182 square yards street pavement); limestone base/subbase (850 tons); installation of P.C. concrete curb and gutter (4,370 linear feet of mountable, barrier, and transition); demolition, earthwork, traffic control, erosion control, roadway striping and signage, and associated work as called for on the drawings, indicated on the Bid Form or reasonably implied. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security is required in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory. QA date - 11-6-2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing not less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the opening of bids
