Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Edwardsville, Kansas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Scope of Work includes the demolition and removal of a 2,434 square foot residential housing unit including the basement, a 576 square foot attached garage and 168 square foot shed, on a .4.75-acre site . The site will be restored using normal industry standards including seeding and erosion control matting as necessary. In no case shall the site be allowed to retain water in pools or ponds on the site. The use of fill material acceptable to the City may be required. According to the Wyandotte Appraiser's Office, the primary structure was built in 1950 with a basement, and a detached garage and shed were added in 1960. Pictures of the structures are attached. Bidders shall be responsible to ensure all utilities have been properly disconnected. Bidders shall be required to obtain a demolition permit from the City of Edwardsville and have an active business license and current W/9 on file. The demolition permit fee shall be waived for this Project. Upon Award of Bid, it is anticipated a Notice to Proceed will occur within 10 days. Bidders should be prepared to proceed immediately upon Notice to Proceed, but in no case more than 30 days. All work must be completed within 30 calendar days. The Contract shall be awarded by the Governing Body of the City of Edwardsville at the sole and complete discretion of such Governing Body. The City of Edwardsville, Kansas, reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, and to waive technicalities.
