This project involves the removal and replacement of existing ground-mounted packaged HVAC units at the Georgia Department of Driver Services facility in Blue Ridge, Georgia. The new installation will include one 7.5-ton and one 4-ton packaged heat pump unit, each with electric heat strips and new thermostats. Work will also include all associated electrical, ductwork, and control connections. Existing concrete equipment pads may be reused if they are properly sized and in good condition. The purpose of this electronic Request for Quote (eRFQ) is for the State Entity to establish a one-time buy/contract with a single qualified Offeror who will provide materials, labor, installation and removal of existing equipment, and supervision as necessary to complete the removal/installation The full list of specifications is in the general comment/attachment section of this bid. All required documents MUST BE RETURNED as an attachment with the bid package in order to be considered as a responsive bid. Award shall be made to the Lowest Responsive and Responsible Bidder meeting specifications. For violation of this provision, the State may reject any bid/proposal of the offending bidder/offeror or initiate suspension/debarment proceeding with respect to the offending supplier or bidder/offeror. Installation of New Package Units o Set and install new 7.5-ton and 4-ton packaged heat pump units. o Reuse existing equipment pads if they meet size and condition requirements; otherwise, provide and install new pads. o Anchor and level new units per manufacturer instructions and code. Electrical o Disconnect and reconnect high-voltage power to new units. o Install new low-voltage control wiring from thermostats to units. o All electrical work to meet local and NEC code requirements.
