As of November 26, 2025, project was awarded to General Waste Services Inc . but awarded amount is not available. The project includes the following: Nokomis Schools Asbestos Abatement Provide all material, labor, and equipment to remove and dispose of asbestos containing pipe insulation, ceiling tile, sealants, tabletops, floor tile, floor tile mastics, and transite panels in various locations of Nokomis High School and North Elementary School. Contractor and Sub-contractors shall include in bids, the cost for the cur-rent prevailing wage (Illinois Prevailing Wage Act - 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq.). The Contractor shall ensure that any Subcontractors shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Other pertinent infor-mation applicable to the form of the Bid, the manner of its submission, and the documents which must - accompany it are included in the Specifications and other Contract Documents.
