The project generally consists of the upgrade of potable water booster pumps, valves, controls, generator, interior piping, building improvements, as well as site improvements to an existing booster pump station. The work includes bypass pumping during the project. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Chester Water Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of Chester Water Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days of the date of the bid opening. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. The Chester Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
