NWHCMUD No. 5 Water Plant No. 1 Rehabilitation The deadline to ask questions is 11/07/2025 2:00 PM CST The project includes demolition and removal of Ground Storage Tank No. 1, above-ground water well discharge piping, booster pump station piping and foundation, generator pad, and fuel tank with foundation. The existing booster pumps and motors will be refurbished, including replacement of seals with mechanical seals. Furnish and install a new 426,500-gallon welded steel ground storage tank with cathodic protection, new water well discharge piping, booster pump station piping and foundation pad, and a diesel-powered emergency generator. Hydropneumatic Tanks No. 1 (10,000 gallon) and No. 2 (15,000 gallon) will be rehabilitated by power washing, abrasive blasting, and recoating of both interior and exterior surfaces. The project also includes site preparation, grading, drainage, yard piping, and all components to ensure the smooth operation of the water plant. A cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance, payment and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor is required to submit TEC Form 1295 (Certificate of Interested Parties) with their bid.
