RFP for SSO Program Oversight Consulting. The West Virginia Department of Administration, Purchasing Division Is issuing this solicitation as a request for proposal ("RFP"), as authorized by W. Va. Code 5A-3-10b, for the West Virginia Division of Multimodal Transportation Facilites - Transit to provide consultant services to maintain compliance with the Federal Transit Administration's requirements for Section 5329 Public Transportation and Safety and Oversight program concerning the West Virginia University Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) management and facilities, per the attached specifications and terms and conditions. It is further understood and agreed that to the extent the defaulting bidder's Bid Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Treasurer's Check, and/or Official Bank Check (excluding any income generated thereby which has been retained by PURCHASER as provided in [Item x "Bid Security" of the Instructions to Bidders]) shall prove inadequate to fully recompense PURCHASER for the damages occasioned by default, then the undersigned bidder agrees to indemnify PURCHASER and pay over to PURCHASER the difference between the bid security and PURCHASER's) total damages, so as to make PURCHASER whole. The undersigned understands that any material alteration of any of the above or any of the material contained on this form, other than that requested, will render the bid unresponsive. The penal amount of performance bonds shall be 100 percent of the original contract price, unless PURCHASER determines that a lesser amount would be adequate for the protection of PURCHASER. The Purchasing Division Director reserves the right to cancel this Contract immediately upon written notice to the vendor if the materials or workmanship supplied do not conform to the specifications contained in the Contract. The Purchasing Division Director may also cancel any purchase or Contract upon 30 days written notice to the Vendor in accordance with West Virginia Code of State Rules 148-1-5.2.b.
