As of November 13, 2025, project is awarded to Landmark Contractors in the amount of $165,165.40. The scope of work includes replacement of the front concrete apron and parking areas, curb modifications, asphalt paving, installation of a handicap-accessible ramp, relocation of the existing flagpole, and installation of electrical service for future LED sign and site improvements. Detailed project specifications and contract documents may be obtained from the Addison Fire Protection District Administrative Offices. All work must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. The successful contractor must furnish both a performance bond and a payment bond in the full contract amount prior to the start of work. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond made payable to the Addison Fire Protection District in an amount equal to not less than 5% of the bid total. The District intends to award the project to the lowest responsible bidder, as determined by the District. All bidders must comply with applicable local, state, and federal laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity requirements.
