This project proposes to apply a preventative maintenance treatment to seal cracks and joint overlays and limited pavement repairs. This work will help to maintain and extend the life of the pavement surface and keeps the highway system in a state of good repair. 1. Interstate 495 (Long Island Expressway) between Exit 37 (Willis Avenue) to Exit 48 (Round Swamp Road) in the Towns of North Hempstead, Oyster Bay and Huntington in Nassau and Suffolk Counties 2. Long Island South Service Road from NY112 (Medford Avenue) to CR101 (Sills Road) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County 3. Long Island North Service Road from CR101 (Sills Road) to Old Medford Avenue in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County 4. NY347 from Hallock Road to CR97 (Nicolls Road) in the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County. NYSDOT Region: 10 Long Island The current status of the project is Future Development. The Bid Opening is expected to be in Summer 2029. Construction is expected to begin in Summer 2029. Construction is expected to be completed in Spring 2030. As of October 18, 2025, the project is in Conceptual status. Anticipated letting Year is 2029.
