Site work for a water / sewer project in Village of Lakewood, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Include Value-engineered Scope of Work. The Project Includes the Following Work: Installation of Approximately 4,700 Lineal Feet of 12-inch Water Main Installed by Either Open-cut or Horizontal Directional Drilling Methods, Including Fire Hydrants, Valves in Boxes, Flushing Station, Sampling Station, and Dry Well Structure; Including Parkway and Pavement Restoration; and Other Miscellaneous Items of Work. Instructions to Bidders. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, Certified Check, Bank Cashier's Check or Bank Draft Payable to the Village of Lakewood for Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid as Provided in the Instructions to Bidders. For All Further Requirements Regarding Bid Submittal, Qualifications, Procedures, and Contract Award, Refer to the Instructions to Bidders That Are Included in the Bidding Documents. Rejection of Bids the Village Board of Trustees Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids and to Waive Technicalities. Unless the Bids Are Rejected for Good Cause, Award of Contract Shall Be Made to the Lowest Responsible and Responsive Bidder.
