Site work and paving for a civil project in Niceville, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of stormwater flooding mitigation along Union Avenue and Hasty Lane in Niceville. Work includes enhancing stormwater structures to reduce flooding, erosion, and improve water quality in the bayou. Improvements include a grass swale and trench drain system on Union Avenue, and a closed conduit storm sewer system on Bayshore Drive and Hasty Lane. All work will occur within the existing right-of-way and includes clearing, drainage improvements, earthwork, grading, asphalt paving, seeding, sodding, and other items as shown in the Plans and Contract Documents. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The County reserves the right to award the bid to the lowest responsive respondent and to waive any irregularity or technicality in bids received. Okaloosa County shall be the sole judge of the bid and the resulting Agreement that is in its best interest and its decision shall be final. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. All terms, specifications and conditions set forth in this ITB are incorporated into your response. A bid will not be accepted unless all conditions have been met.
