Demolition for an educational facility in Ferndale, Michigan. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Selective Structure Demolition for Jalen Rose Leadership Academy Campus Expansion. Bids will be on a Stipulated Sum basis; segregated bids will not be accepted. The Owner will issue a "Notice to Proceed" to the successful bidder. The successful bidder may take possession of that portion of the site covered under this contract upon execution of the Agreement. Hazardous Materials Abatement will be completed prior to possession by the successful Bidder. The existing structure has been surveyed for hazardous substances and has been found to contain certain contaminants as part of the Phase II Environment Site Assessment. The Owner's consultant has prepared a Due Care Plan under which the successful Bidder will be required to operate. These documents are included by reference as a part of these Bid Documents and are a part of the Work. Copies are available at the offices of the Owner's representative. Bidders are required to be prequalified for this Project. Submit AIA Document A305 to be considered. Bidders must be able to furnish bonds covering faithful performance of the Contract and payment of obligations arising thereunder. The amount of each bond shall be equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. Include in the Bid Sum the cost to furnish such bonds. On the Bid Form, identify the bond costs as a separate line item cost to be deducted from the bid should bonds not be required. If required, the Bidder shall deliver the required bonds to the Owner not later than three days following the date of execution of the Contract. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required for interested bidders. Arrangements for access to visit and view the site and existing building during normal business hours on other days must be made in advance by contacting the Architect. It will be assumed all bidders have visited the site prior to submitting bids. Bids must remain valid for sixty (60) days after the bid date. The Owner and Architect reserve the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all Bids, or accept a Bid which serves the Owner's best interest. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders are required to be prequalified for this Project. Submit AIA Document A305 to be considered. Bidders must be able to furnish bonds covering faithful performance and payment of obligations, each equal to 100% of the Contract Sum.
