Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Design plans call for the renovation of a 450,500-square-foot, four-story above grade parking garage; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
as of February 4, 2026, per owner, design team identified. Bidding is anticipated for April 2026. Construction to begin June 2026. Full design, bidding, construction administration and project close out services for architectural, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, and structural systems at the campus parking garage located at 1420 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Key features of the project include: The parking garage is a stand-alone, precast concrete structure originally constructed in 1977. The garage is four stories with a basement lower level, with a total floor area of approximately 450,500 square feet. Architectural scope to include planters, metal screen corrosion, doors, windows, patching and painting, and building signage. Fire protection addresses deficiencies two dry pipe sprinkler zones. The electrical system components are original to the 1977 building and will be replaced to include main switchboard, branch circuit conduits, and electrical power feeders. HVAC address minor deficiencies. Roof replacement stair towers sections A (4-ply built up asphalt). Structural repair recommendations as defined in TKDA report.
