Village of Memramcook requests Bids for construction of a new municipal recreation facility including all related site work. Scope of work includes demolition of existing clubhouse after new facility is occupied. Site services will be required to extend to Rue Centrale St. as the closest Municipal connection. Construction of a new recreation centre including a single storey facility with partial basement storage garage. Core spaces include 225-person capacity community room with folding partition; 75-seat Restaurant, commercial kitchen with catering kitchen; and golf club amenities including retail, locker, and activity rooms. New construction consists of community halls, restaurant/bar, commercial kitchen, catering kitchen, private dining room, retail shop, activity room, offices, change rooms, washrooms, golf cart storage, mechanical and electrical rooms, parking lot, site servicing, watermain, sanitary systems, lift station, geothermal system, solar PV system, communications systems, fire protection, electrical distribution, site works and demolition of the existing clubhouse. The design is intended to meet Net Zero Carbon v4 standard and will be applying for certification with CaGBC. Roof-mounted solar panel array and geothermal heating are key strategies to meet sustainability targets.
