Renovation of Detroit Lakes Washington Ballpark includes restoration of the existing steel grandstand and spectator seating, installation of new spectator safety netting systems, and various site improvements. The interior renovations of the grandstand will provide updated spectator and player facilities, maintenance and storage areas, and a new trash enclosure with access from Langford Street. The project also includes the demolition and new construction of team dugouts, and a new concession stand pavilion. Bids must be submitted on the basis of a stipulated sum and must include a separate price for each alternate. Other bid types are not accepted. Separate bids are required for materials and labor. Compliance with current state statutes is required for all contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. A provided bid form must be used. Bidders must visit the project site to obtain firsthand knowledge of existing conditions. Each bid must be prepared on the provided Bid Form, sealed and clearly marked, accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond for five percent of the bid amount. No bid withdrawals are allowed within thirty days of closing. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or parts of bids and to waive informalities.
