Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Rochester, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade educational facility.
Separate sealed proposals are requested for the Gates Chili Central School District - 2025 Capital Improvement Project - Phase 1. Bids are requested for the following Prime Contracts: Site Contract, General Trades Contract, Plumbing Contract, Mechanical Contract, Electrical Contract. Bidders must submit a copy of their valid NYS Department of Labor Public Work Contractor and Subcontractor Certificate of Registration with the bid; applications for registration will not be accepted in place of the Certificate. Bids must include all required bid security and other documentation as specified in the Bidding Documents. Bids must be submitted on the form provided in the documents, prepared in duplicate, and enclosed in an envelope marked with the bidder's name, address, and the title of work. If bidding on more than one contract, each bid should be in a separate envelope. There are requirements regarding conditions of employment and minimum wage rates that must be met. Contract Documents can be obtained for a deposit, or viewed electronically online as specified. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the Bid is required as a guarantee. The Board of Education reserves the right to waive informalities and reject any or all bids, or accept the bid judged to be in the best interest of the school district. Work is to begin promptly and be continuously and diligently prosecuted after contract signing.
