The project consists of pedestrian signal upgrades at the intersection of County Line Road (SR 3057) and Lancaster Avenue (SR 0030), and ADA improvements along County Line Road between South Warner Avenue to Mondella Avenue. The work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition; temporary traffic and pedestrian control measures; trenching and excavation; installation of conduit and cable, pedestrian signal heads and signage; concrete sidewalk and ADA ramp construction; crosswalk markings; and site restoration. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% are required, as well as a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 25%. Bidders may view the exterior of the project areas along County Line Road between Lancaster Avenue and Mondella Avenue in Bryn Mawr, PA 19010 at their convenience. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the contract documents must be paid on this project, and that the contractor must ensure non-discrimination based on various protected categories. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof or to waive any informality or irregularity as deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
