Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
Work includes removal of existing wood boardwalk, gates, and fencing; selective demolition of walks and curbs; installation of a new boardwalk; new curb ramps; new vinyl-coated fence; and limited installation of existing electrical wiring within the work area. Bids will be received for a single prime contract, on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids must be on the forms provided for this purpose and prepared according to the Contract Documents. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the Owner as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and provide proper contract and bond. The original certified check or bid bond must be delivered within 72 hours of the bid opening. Bidders may be requested to submit a Contractors Qualification Statement. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100% of the contract amount. Work is subject to wage rate and labor standards in accordance with the State of Wisconsin at the time of bidding. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner.
