Sealed bids will be accepted for the construction project generally described as the Aldrich Elementary Re-Roof. To obtain bid documents, contact A&D Technical Supply or order through the A&D Virtual Plan Room. The cost of printing and shipping drawings and specifications is to be paid by the prospective bidder requesting the documents. Under the Base Bid: Existing insulation and BUR roofing system to remain. Remove all loose aggregate. Adhere 1/2" SecurShield HD Rapid Lock coverboard to the existing BUR roofing system as required to achieve the warranty as noted in the Project Manual. Install new 145-mil FleeceBACK Rapid Lock EPDM membrane over the coverboard. The undersigned hereby proposes and agrees to perform the foregoing ALTERNATE NO. 1. Under this Alternate: In lieu of the FleeceBACK Rapid Lock system, adhere 1/2" HD coverboard to the existing BUR roofing system as required to achieve the warranty as noted in the Project Manual. Adhere new 90-mil EPDM membrane to the 1/2" HD coverboard, for the Lump Sum of Area 01 Metal deck, 1.5" ISO, 1.5" ISO, 1/4" perlite, 2 ply Asphalt BUR. 4.5" total of roof system to deck. Area 02 Metal deck, 1.5" iso, 1.5" iso, 1/2" perlite, 2 ply asphalt BUR. Roof system 4 inches total to deck. Area 03 Metal deck, 1.5" iso, 1.5" iso, 1/2" perlite, 2 ply asphalt BUR. Total roof system 4 inches to deck. Area 04 Metal deck, 1.5" iso, 1.5" iso, 1/2" perlite, 2 ply asphalt BUR. Roof system is 4 inches total to the deck. Aldrich Elementary School - Reroof Millard Public Schools 506 N 162nd Avenue Omaha, NE 68118 SCHEDULE: General Contractor will start the work on May 29, 2026 and will substantially complete the work on or before August 2, 2026 and will achieve final completion of the work on or before August 9, 2026 PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. This entire project is within Aldrich Elementary School, 506 North 162nd Avenue, Omaha, Nebraska 68118 . The project consists of Reroof of the building as shown on the Drawings. B. Work under this contract includes all material, labor, tools, expendable equipment, utility and transportation services, and all incidental items necessary to perform and complete, in a workmanlike manner, the work required for the construction of the Aldrich Elementary School Reroof. C. Renovations will take place during staff and student summer vacation but various areas of the facility will be occupied by the summer school activities. Contractors and District staff will work closely to isolate areas of work. D. Work in the facility shall be allowed during normal working hours throughout the project, however, the contractor must provide, at all times, for clear exit paths, proper lighting, and fire/smoke protection (subject to approval of all authorities having jurisdiction) and protection against any and all fumes and odors caused by construction activities. The contractor shall halt or modify any activities the Owner determines to be disruptive in any manner to their continued use of the building. E. In addition to any temporary walls shown in these documents, temporary walls may be required in areas of construction depending on the type of work being performed in certain areas.
