Renovation of an educational facility in West Lafayette, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

As of December 01, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 8th. West Lafayette Community School Corporation is requesting bids from qualified contractors for work and services related to the routine operation, repair, and/or maintenance of structures, buildings, and facilities at 1200 N Salisbury St, West Lafayette, IN (Happy Hollow Elementary School Chiller Replacement). All work for the complete construction of and services for the project shall be performed under one prime contract. Bidders must submit a completed SBOA Form 96, a financial statement, a statement of experience, proposed plans for performing the work, and information on available resources, labor, technology, materials, supplies, and equipment. Each bid must include a satisfactory bid bond or certified check in the amount of 1% of the bidder's total contract price. The successful bidder must, prior to approval and execution of the contract, furnish an approved performance and labor and materials payment bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, which shall remain in effect for one year after acceptance of the work and final settlement. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with applicable laws and requirements. Bidding documents, including plans and specifications, are on file with the School and may be examined online. Bidders must email the contact to be added to a distribution list for communications and addendums related to the bidding documents. The School reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, reject any and all bids, accept or waive any irregularities, and is not obligated to accept the lowest or any bid. An appointment to tour the project site during school hours can be requested.
