Renovation of a municipal facility in Toms River, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,500-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility.

Interior renovations to the Environmental Health Office wing including, demolition, general construction, HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing as detailed in the technical specifications/construction documents. Work included in this project shall be for the Interior Renovations to the Ocean County Health Department Environmental Section All questions must be sent in writing to purchasing@ochd.org before 4:00 pm on November 25, 2025. Interior Renovations To Ocean County Health Department Environmental Section No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a Consent of Surety, plus a bid guarantee in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the base bid, not to exceed $20,000.00, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond, binding the bidder to execute a contract and furnish the required performance bond within ten (10) days after notification of acceptance of the bid. A Non-Collusion Affidavit shall also be submitted. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond for the faithful performance of the contract in an amount not less than 100% of the total price for the completed contract. Said bond to be that of an approved surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey, and acceptable to the Board of Health. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a surety company binding it to provide and issue the required performance bond. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq, and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. regarding Affirmative Action, the Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., the disclosure of investment activities in Iran requirements of N.J.S.A. 52:32-55 et seq. and the Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11 et seq. All bidders shall possess a valid Public Works Contractor's Registration Certificate pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48, at the time the bid is received. Bidders and their subcontractors must comply with New Jersey Business Registration requirements. Bids that arrive late due to the fault of postal or any delivery/courier service, or any other carrier of any sort, are still considered late and shall not be accepted. Such bids shall remain unopened and will be returned to the submitting entity upon request. Addenda will be issued only in the exceptional case where the issue involved is of sufficient importance to materially affect the bidding process. All questions must be sent in writing to purchasing@ochd.org before 4:00 pm on November 25, 2025. Questions will not be answered over the phone. Bidders are cautioned to obtain and review the plans and specifications in advance of this date. The Board of Health will consider all requests for technical modifications to the plans and specifications and will, if necessary, issue an addendum. Addenda will be issued only in the exceptional case where the issue involved is of sufficient importance to materially affect the bidding process. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
