Renovation of a municipal facility in New Port Richey, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,000-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.

The project consists of the complete removal of approximately 3,000 SF of the existing roof deck and the installation of a mechanically attached white 60 mil thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof membrane and associated TPO flashing accessories, perimeter metal flashing systems, new expansion joint cover, and counterflashing systems. Work includes furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, incidentals, and services, including labor for replacing the roof and all associated work required for the roofing project. The scope includes removing the existing roof, installing peel & stick underlayment, installing Florida Code compliant ISO board, installing a new drip edge, retaining the coping cap, installing the TPO system, running TPO through existing drain openings as needed, including witches hats as needed, and cleaning up and hauling away debris. All work shall comply with construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Each bid must be submitted in triplicate on the specified proposal forms and accompanied by bid security in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid amount. The outside of the envelope must be clearly marked with the proposer's name, full address, and "ITB26-009 WWTF Administration Building Roof Replacement." The successful bidder will be required to furnish additional bonds as prescribed, and all bonds and insurance must be executed or countersigned by a licensed resident agent qualified to do business in Florida. The bidder shall hold or obtain all required contractors and business licenses as applicable. The owner will investigate the apparent low bidder’s performance record and ability to perform. The bidder must submit all requested information for evaluation. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason, including but not limited to non-responsiveness, lack of qualification, or other criteria established by the owner.
