The scope of work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary for the procurement of Ovivos OEM C30HT Drive Unit, and the removal and installation of a new OEM C30HT Drive Unit to completion with Ovivo-approved warranty. All work must be in accordance with the construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. Instructions to bidders include submitting bids in triplicate on the provided proposal forms, with bid security in an amount not less than 5 percent of the base bid amount. The outside of the envelope must be clearly marked with the proposer's name, full address, and the project title. The successful bidder must provide the necessary additional bonds for faithful performance of the contract. All insurance and bonds must be executed or countersigned by a licensed resident agent of the surety or insurance company in Florida, which must also be duly licensed to do business in the state. Bidders must hold or obtain required contractor and business licenses as per state statutes. The Owner will investigate the apparent low bidder's record and qualifications before awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason, including if deemed not responsive or unqualified, and may postpone the award of contract for up to 120 days from the proposal opening date.
