Renovation of a municipal facility in Burlington, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Removal of old HVAC system and install new system Scope of Work Remove and dispose of 2 existing condensing units and air Furnish an install primary heating/cooling system (2) 24,000 BTU multi-zone cold climate heat pump with (2) each 12,000 BTU ceiling cassettes. Please provide equipment make/model quoting. Place condenser units on existing pads if possible Furnish and install (1) 9,000 BTU mini split heat pump w/ (1) 9,000 BTU ceiling cassette in Conference Furnish and install 200 CFM multi-speed remotely controllable ERV in ceiling and duct to each ceiling cassette for supply and tie to existing return duct in ceiling for Furnish and install wired wall controllers for ceiling Upgrade electrical and for 3 condensing units use existing shut off if Start and test new systems for proper Replace any ceiling tile that needs it BED will supply scrap metal & debris dumpsters Evaluation of Proposals 11/28/2025 Selection of contractor 11/28/2025 Date project may begin 5/26/2026 Date project must be completed 6/12/2026 Questions All technical questions should be directed to Burlington Electric Department Purchasing Department (purchasing@burlingtonelectric.com) and must include the RFP Number in the Subject Line
