The work to be done consist of furnishing all the materials, equipment and labor necessary to construct the new Red Hill Water Interconnect 16-inch HDD Line B consisting of the following quantities: Approximately 3,016 LF of 16" HDPE Water Main installed by Horizontal Directional Drill and associated appurtenances. Contractor must provide fire, extended coverage, vandalism, and malicious mischief insurance equal to the actual value of the insured property during construction. Any prospective bidder, offeror, contractor or subcontractor who is aggrieved in connection with the solicitation of this contract may protest to Engineer (or) Owner in accordance with Section 11-35-4210 of the SC Code of Laws, within 15 days of the date of issuance of the Notice of Intent to Award. No bidder may withdraw the bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening and thereof. These bid documents will be modified only by written addenda.
