Site work for a water / sewer project in Pasco, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

Installation of a vault around an existing raw water pipe, two taps on the pipe, and ancillary instruments within the vault. Relocation of an existing Conex, trenching and installation of yard piping between the vault and Conex. Installation of permanganate storage and feed systems, a raw water sample panel, ventilation, and ancillary equipment in the Conex. Completion and installation of a new PLC, with programming and integration of the new permanganate system, raw water quality analyzers, and vault intrusion sensor for vault. Bidding must be done electronically through the City of Pasco's Plan Room secure network/platform, and bids will only be accepted electronically via this system. All bids must include a "Good Faith Token" in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid. Prospective bidders must register as a plan holder on the designated website regardless of how they obtain bidding documents. Updates, official notifications, addenda, and relevant information will be available only through the designated website. There will not be a pre-bid conference. Work is subject to Washington State Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program requirements, Davis-Bacon/Prevailing Wage Requirements, and the American Iron and Steel provision. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities or irregularities. Small, minority, and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit. ConstrucOon 10% MBE 6% WBE Supplies 8% MBE 4% WBE Equipment 8% MBE 4% WBE Purchased Services 10% MBE 4% WBE WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The completed Work will provide Owner with the design and construction of a permanganate dosing system at the Butterfield Water Treatment Plant. The project includes a precast concrete vault for an existing active and pressurized 36-inch raw water pipe, which includes an access hatch with intrusion sensor, a ladder, and an exhaust fan and standpipe. The floor of the precast concrete vault shall be cast-in-place along with pipe support saddles that make up a portion of the walls of the vault. The project also includes relocating the existing Conex to house the sodium permanganate storage and pumping system, and extension of overhead power from the Franklin PUD provided transformer and fiber optics cable to Conex. Coordinate the extension and connecting of overhead power and fiber optics cable with Franklin PUD. B. The Conex will be retrofitted with an exhaust fan and intake. The work also includes installing tapping saddles onto an existing active 36-inch raw water pipeline, chemical piping, and chemical injection quills, as well as relocating the existing raw water sampling location. New probes and analyzers will be installed with sampling piping and drains to sewer. A new PLC will be furnished and installed at the existing Conex to communicate with the plant PLC. System integration and programming will be provided for the new permanganate storage and feed system, raw water quality analyzers, and intrusion sensor in the raw water pipe vault. C. Finally, the work includes site work, a trench safety system for excavation, and site restoration.
