Site work for a fire / police facility in Raceland, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the purchase and installation of approximately 3830 square yards of 8 WWF reinforced concrete pavement around an existing pile supported foundation. The project includes a 10-foot transitional slab installed around the building, which is part of the overall reinforced concrete pavement scope. The work also involves the removal of approximately two feet of existing non-structural material and the import, placement (proofrolled subgrade, compacted lifts, etc.), and compaction of structural fill under the new pavement. The contractor is responsible for all work shown in the Construction Plans, including providing all necessary materials, labor, and equipment required to complete the described scope of work. Bids must be in accordance with the provided instructions, sealed, and marked appropriately. All required documents and bid forms must be submitted in the original bid. The award will go to the lowest responsible bidder meeting the requirements. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids without cause.
