Renovation of a municipal facility in Greater Sudbury, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Main scope: Supply and Install Emergency Diesel Electric Generator and accessories in Sudbury Ornge Base. Refer to drawings for details. Provide additional pricing to install a 350kW diesel generator in place of the 230kW generator. This cost must include all associated items that would be required in order to make this change including: Larger concrete pad to accommodate the larger genset. Increased cable and conduit size sizing to 2 runs of 4/0AWG per phase in 2-1/2" conduit. Fuel tank to be increased in size to maintain run time equal to 230kW run time specified. Coordinate with generator supplier to confirm shore power sizing for generator utility panel and include any required upgrades in cost. Note: existing 400A ATS will remain. Existing main distribution center bus is rated for 400A so incoming power would have to be limited to this value via breaker installed at generator. All other drawing notes apply and distances from building must be maintained.
