Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Monaville, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade bridge / tunnel.
The selected firm will be responsible for site assessment, preliminary and final design services to include two sets of 40 foot bridge panels (for a total of 80 feet) installed on top of the existing piers, a 42 foot handrail with hog wire and toe kick on both sides, utility coordination, construction management, quality assurance and inspection, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. A minimum of a 5 year warranty on materials and a 1 year warranty on installation is required. Each proposal must include a cover letter, company background and qualifications, project team and resumes, relevant experience (specifically similar bridge projects), a detailed approach and methodology, timeline and milestones, a cost estimate broken down by phase, a list of required subcontractors if any, and insurance and bonding information.
