Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Parrottsville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project; and one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services for the construction of sewage works as part of the Parrottsville American Rescue Plan Project. The work is to be bid in one contract and includes: Schedule A - repair or modification of treatment units at the wastewater treatment plant that are not functioning or are overloaded; Schedule B - replacing the overloaded and worn out sewage pumping station at the HUX store with a new, higher capacity station at a more appropriate downstream location, including approximately 390 linear feet of 4-inch force main; Schedule C - smoke testing and reports within the collection system to identify significant infiltration/inflow. All bidders must be licensed general contractors as required by Tennessee law and qualified for the type of construction being bid. Bids must be submitted on the provided proposal form, with the contractor's license number, expiration date, and classification written on the envelope. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract price. An affidavit stating the company has a drug and alcohol testing program as required by Tennessee law must also be submitted. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or negotiate with any or all bidders. The work shall be paid for using ARP Grant funds. The work is to be bid in One (1) Contract and consists of the following approximate quantities together with all necessary appurtenances. The work to be performed under Contract I consists of modifications and repairs to the existing recirculating sand filter waste water treatment plant. Major work is described as follows: Schedule "A" Repair or modification of treatment units at the waste water treatment plant which are not functioning or are overloaded; Schedule "B" Replacing the overloaded and worn out sewage pumping station which is now located at the HUX store. A new pumping station with a greater capacity will be located at a more appropriate downstream location. Also included is approximately 390 linear feet of 4-inch force main; and Schedule "C" Smoke Testing and reports within the collection system at which significant amounts of infiltration/inflow are entering the collection system. The work shall be paid for using ARP Grant funds. The work is to be bid in One (1) Contract and consists of the following approximate quantities together with all necessary appurtenances.
