Reroofing Fairview Elementary School for Cullman County Schools. All general contractors bidding on this project are required to visit the site and examine all existing conditions prior to submitting their proposal, with arrangements made with the school. All bidders must have general liability and workman's compensation insurance. Bids shall exclude taxes and must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the architect. A certified check or bid bond payable to Cullman County Schools in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, must accompany the bidder's sealed proposal. Performance and statutory labor and material payment bonds will be required at contract signing. All bidders in amounts exceeding those established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, with evidence of license displayed on the proposal envelope. Documents are to be reviewed and printed from the architect's specified website, and addendums will only be provided to entities that have confirmed bidding. All RFIs and RFAs must be sent via specified emails using the forms in the Project Manual; telephone or fax inquiries will not be accepted. Completion time and supervision requirements are per the scope of work referenced in the Project Manual. 1. The Contractor shall be responsible to secure the site during the execution of the work and provide proof of insurance including but not limited to General Liability, W/C, Auto, Equipment, etc.
