The City of Harveyville is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Contract 1: Water Main Replacement The Project includes the following Work: Contract 1: The Work generally consists of constructing approximately 6,600 linear feet of new PVC water main ranging in size from 2-inches to 8-inches, including open-cut and horizontal directional drilling installation, along with fittings, valves, hydrants, service connections, and appurtenances. The project includes new meters, meter pits, and automated meter reading (AMR) equipment with software integration and startup. Additional work includes connections to existing water mains, site excavation and improvements at the elevated water storage tank, installation of a mixing system and electrical upgrades, and surface restorations. The Contractor will also be responsible for mobilization, permitting, traffic control, and erosion control measures necessary to complete the work. A pre-bid conference will not be conducted for this Project.
