Bids are invited for construction of a parking lot at Prairie Park at 1680 Jimmy Phillips Blvd., Angleton, TX 77515 that will include items such as clearing, grading, installation of asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalk, striping and concrete wheel stops, parking signs, solar lighting, and revegetation. Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are available at www.civcastusa.com under the search "Prairie Park Parking Lot." Bidders must register on this website to view or download specifications, plans, soils report, and environmental reports, though there is no charge to view or download documents. Questions regarding the project should be submitted through the Civcast platform, and a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Village of Bailey's Prairie or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project is subject to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, including payment of not less than the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate. Adherence to the Brazoria County Section 3 Policy is required, and all contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) before the award of a contract.
