The Berkshire Regional Planning Commission ( "Commission") is seeking a qualified technical consultant ("Consultant") to assist with planning eUorts for a regional bicycle-pedestrian multi-use path ("Path"). The objective for this planning study is to determine and document the most feasible routing options for a Path through the southern region of Berkshire County, Massachusetts, keeping the facility oU-road to the maximum extent practicable. The target users of the Path include, but are not limited to, people walking, jogging, or hiking, people using mobility devices such as wheelchairs and power chairs, and people cycling with humanpowered bicycles or Class I e-bikes, of all ages and abilities. The Path will pass through the towns of SheUield, Great Barrington, Stockbridge, Lee, and Lenox, Massachusetts (the "Study Towns"). The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all submissions received under this RFP. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
