The Project Scope is to get feedback from industry partners for a design-build K-12 project. The scope includes the design and construction of a new cafeteria/kitchen and a new or remodeled gymnasium at Barnes Elementary School. Firms that do not submit a SoQ to this RFQ or are not included on the Shortlist will not be permitted to submit a Proposal for the provision of Construction Services for Barnes Elementary School Gym and Cafeteria Design Build. Beaverton School District (BSD) is soliciting qualifications from experienced design-build teams for the Barnes Elementary School project. The scope includes a new cafeteria, kitchen, and gymnasium addition. The project will be delivered using a traditional design-build approach with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract. This procurement process will occur in two steps: Request for Qualifications (RFQ), to determine a Shortlist of contractors followed by a Formal Request for Proposal (RFP). Statements of Qualification (SoQ) in response to this RFQ must address all items listed in Section IV, V, and VI. Once the two-step solicitation process has been completed, the successful proposer will have the responsibility for providing a complete project. This will include but not be limited to all materials, labor, equipment and will involve significant coordination with the District.
