The Nation is requesting sealed proposals from interested, qualified companies to provide assistance to lead and copper rule improvements (LCRI) across the reservation. Complete information regarding the scope of work and specifications are provided in the Request for Proposal (RFP). Utility Locating and Coordination o Submit and manage approximately 235 dig requests. This number is based on a statistical analysis of 20% of the unknown service lines in each system. Should lead service lines be found all unknown service lines within that public water system will need to be verified. Should this occur the project timeline will be extended to allow for the additional verification work. o Perform utility locating and coordinate with property owners to schedule site access. o Coordination and planning with the Rural Water Districts and Small Municipal Water Systems . Potholing/Excavation o Excavate at specified addresses to expose service line material on both sides of the water meter. (Customer side and Utility side) o Excavate to appropriate depth and length as directed by the engineering team in accordance with Oklahoma DEQ and EPA requirements. o Employ trenchless or low-impact methods when necessary due to site constraints. Visual Verification and Documentation o Visually identify and document service line materials in accordance with 120Water's verification protocols. Restoration and Cleanup o Properly backfill all excavations and restore disturbed surfaces (soil, sod, pavement) to pre-work condition. o Remove debris and excess material from sites. o Coordination and repairs of damage caused by verification methods will be the sole responsibility of contractor. . Safety and Compliance o Comply with OSHA trenching/excavation standards and Cherokee Nation's Health & Safety requirements. o Implement all required traffic control and public safety measures. o Utilize the Okie 811 utility location system prior to any and all excavation work.
