Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbus, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Interior alteration of the Hyatt Restrooms, on the third floor of the Greater Columbus Convention Center adjacent to the Grand Ballroom (South Building), in Columbus Ohio. No changes to egress paths, or widths are occurring in this alteration. Existing restrooms are to be demolished, and new restrooms are to be installed, along with a new VIP Office and a separate, en-suite private restroom. Existing restrooms are understood to meet plumbing code requirements for number of fixtures and lavatories; this project increases the current fixture count. No updated plumbing fixture calculations are provided as the use and occupancy of the facility is remaining the same. The Project consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the timely and proper completion of construction for the renovation of the Regency Ballroom restrooms as described within the Project Manual, drawings, and technical specifications. Project is located at 400 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the exact form included in the Project Manual and meeting the requirements of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. State of Ohio prevailing wage rates and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements are applicable to this bid invitation for all work performed pursuant to this contract. The Franklin County Convention Facilities Authority reserves the right to waive any informalities or in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids. Owner's Estimate: $1,000,000 The Owner anticipates construction will begin in December 2025 and be completed by May 2026.
