Renovation of a medical facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The contractor shall undertake mechanical, electrical, architectural, structural and infection control aspects of the project to upgrade the Pasqua Hospital's MDRD Clean Room containment and bring the MDRD Unit spaces into compliance with CSA Standards as pertains to air movement and pressure relationships. The MDRD Unit will remain operational 24/7 and portions of the work will be required to take place during periods of reduced usage over evenings and or weekends. Renovation of the existing walls including installation of new wall components for walls bounding the MDRD Unit Clean room to facilitate containment in accordance with CSA. Installation of two new exhaust systems to serve the MDRD suite and modification of the existing exhaust systems. Installation of a new recirculating packaged air handling unit and modification of the existing supply air systems. Scope includes modification and installation of associated distribution ductwork, inlets/outlets, controls, and accessories for the HVAC systems noted.
