Demolition of the structure at 620 Oak Street, Carmi, IL. The property should be seeded and strawed at the completion of the demolition. Interested contractors must meet the following insurance requirements: Workman's Compensation and Employee's Liability _ Workmen's compensation of not less than the statutory amount and employer's liability of not less than $500,000 per person; Auto Insurance - A minimum combined single limit of not less than $500,000 for injuries, including accidental death, or damages caused by the contractor's vehicles on the site; Comprehensive Public Liability - Not less than $1,000,000 for accidents or injuries for each occurrence, and not less than $2,000,000 in the aggregate for the policy term. Illinois Prevailing Wage will apply in accordance with the Prevailing Wage Act. Those interested in submitting a sealed bid must do so at Carmi City Hall, 225 E Main Street, by 3pm on Monday, November 10, 2025. Those submitting a bid must include a Statement of Contractor's Qualifications with the bid, available at cityofcarmi.org/demo. The City of Carmi reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
