**As of December 11, 2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on December 17,2025.** The project consists of drilling, constructing and testing a new approximate 1,200-foot-deep groundwater production well. The new well is expected to be permanently cased with 16-inch steel casing, sealed to a depth of approximately 825 feet. The well shall be drilled as a 15-inch open borehole below the permanent casing. The Owner may elect to complete the new well with a 12.75-inch liner with screened intervals. The desired minimum capacity is 500 gpm. Direct air-rotary or flooded reverse-circulation drilling methods are required. For requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders and other documents included in the Bidding Documents. Bid bonds in an amount not less than 5% of the amount bid are required. All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing Federal or State wage rates. The Contractor must comply with the requirements of the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA). Small, Minority- and Women-Owned firms are encouraged to submit bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and in its sole judgement, accept the bid which it deems is in its best interest.
