This project does not have HUB / SBE, WBE requirements The City of Princeton is eastern emerging edge of expansive growth in North Texas. The city desires to complete the exterior specialty sports field lighting as part of the second phase of J.M. Caldwell Park to meet the growing demands of the city where the population is growing at nearly 10% per year or more in terms of residents and rooftops and to increase overall access to sports fields within the city. This project is part of the Parks and Recreation bond and fully endorsed to move forward with the outlined municipal bond funding sources. The desire is to onboard company based on best value and immediately move into contract award and construction start assuming project is withing budget. If project exceeds the desired projected cost range some project considerations may be adjusted, but the project will move forward.Description of Project: In the simplest of terms this project consists of providing [furnish & install] all electrical systems needed for the lighting systems indicated in the construction documents. This will include all underground and above ground infrastructure and necessary systems and indicated to provide as a turnkey solution, including but not limited to light poles and pole bases to ensure a complete and function system. This project is intended to be limited to the new qty. (3) fields being constructed and does not include any electrical lighting work or rework to existing field lighting currently in place for the other fields such as baseball to enhance, modify or upgrade unless required to ensure all light poles are on the same operating system and to ensure fully integrated functionality with the existing lights and lighting systems / controllers. It is not intended for these to be freestanding or standalone from the existing system as it relates to functionality and intended to be seamless and fully integrated with the existing programs, control systems, scheduling software and user interfaces. The systems are to be fully integrated with the existing systems but it is not intended to replace existing poles, existing bases or existing electrical systems as these are within service lift and fully functional at this time.
